HARD KNOCK LIFE: STOP THE VIOLENCE 

STREET TOUR 

Coming to a hood near you...it’s a block party with a purpose!

 

 

The Hard Knock Life: Stop the Violence Street Tour is a mini tour that will make stops throughout the Upstate community beginning Thursday June 4, 2015 at a select community center or apartment complex. The tour will last throughout the summer and consist of dance, music, games, performances from independent artists, poetry and positive messages encouraging our youth to stop the violence in our community.

 

There will also be giveaways which will consists of stop the violence wristbands, pencils, posters and other merchandise. Youth in attendance will also be given the opportunity to sign a 10 foot stop the violence pledge banner pledging their commitment to the stop the violence movement.

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?

Studies show that violence increases during the summer months. The Hard Knock Life: Stop the Violence Street Tour will serve as a reminder to our youth to make a commitment to end violence in our community.

 

WHO WILL BENEFIT?

The entire community will benefit from this positive, uplifting tour.

 

ARE THERE SPECIFIC TOUR DATES & TIMES?

The tour will be scheduled to arrive at specific locations on weekdays, Monday through Friday, at approximately 6:30pm. Each tour will be promoted and last approximately one hour.

 

IS THERE A FEE?

NO.
